Gloucester won 24-15 to end a three-game losing streak for Exeter.

Freddie Clarke scored the first attack to put Gloucester ahead, but Exeter was able to draw level after Jack Innard’s goal.

Nine minutes after the break, Patrick Schickerling attempted to reach Exeter. This was after Billy Twelvetrees had been sinbinned.

Olly Woodburn was the one who went over with the extra man, and Tom O’Flaherty got a bonus point ahead of Santiago Carreras’ and Charlie Chapman’s attempts after a yellow for Exeter’s Dafydd Jensen.

After losing to Wasps and Glasgow over the past three weeks Exeter avoided four consecutive defeats and moved back into the Premiership’s top 6.

Gloucester remains third, but they have played a lot more than the sides.
