A game is often played over the weekend. Tampa Bay BuccaneersTom BradyGoldin Auctions sold jerseys from the late 2020 season for $480,000 (including buyer’s premium).

It’s the highest price ever paid for an NFL game-used jersey.

Notable is the inscription on the jersey’s rear. Brady wrote “G.O.A.T.” beneath the game’s date (GAME UPDATE 1-3-21) as well as his stat line (26/41/399 YDS 4 DDS).

It could have been a sign that Brady may have gotten used to being called G.O.A.T.

Brady signed his name on the “1” adjacent to a reminder of what happened a few months later: “SB LV MVP.”
