Rhodri Williams, Scrum-half of Dragons, has signed a new contract.
The length of the agreement with the 28-year old, which was capped by Wales three times, has not been disclosed by the Welsh region.
Former Llandovery and Scarlets Scarlets player, joined Dragons from Bristol Bears 2018 and has made 74 appearances and scored 13 tries.
Dean Ryan, Dragons director for rugby Dean Ryan said that Rhodri has reached new terms and will stay with us.
“There will be change and we have to identify who we want to remain and join the new building. Rhodri plays an important role in that.
“Rhodri, a great player and a senior player who captained the team, is someone you want to build your squad around. We are excited to see his contribution in the upcoming seasons.”
Williams made his Wales debut in November 2013, against Tonga. He last played for Wales against Scotland in 2014. Williams was also called up for the 2022 campaign.
He was also a Barbarians representative against England in 2018 as well as in 2019, scoring a substitute try in the second half.
