After receiving a four-match ban following a dangerous tackle, Bristol Bears centre Sam Bedlow will not be able to play the rest of the season.
This suspension will mean that he will not be able to attend Bristol's final three Premiership fixtures against Leicester, Exeter and Sale.
The 26 year-old could also be charged with omission of a pre-season fixture in august.
A RFU disciplinary panel stated that he would be allowed back before August if the World Rugby coaching program was completed.
The panel took into consideration that Bedlow apologized to Hastings, and that the Gloucester player had not been injured in making their decision.
Bristol is ranked 10th on the Premiership table.
