Scott Williams: Wales centre signs new Scarlets deal

Scott Williams, a Welsh international, has signed a new contract for Scarlets.

After returning from 2021 with the Ospreys, the centre is now in its 31st year.

Williams was capped 58 times by Wales and has appeared 146 times for Scarlets since his debut in 2012.

“Scott’s contribution to our team has been exceptional since his return in this season. Dwayne Peal, Scarlets head coach said, “He is a player who still offers a lot at the top of this game.”

“He is a leader and his performances have demonstrated how important it is to him to play for the Scarlets.”

Williams said, “The Scarlets have shown faith in my ability to do what they could by bringing me back. And I want to repay them for that.”

“We haven’t had what we want so far this season but it feels like under Dwayne we are building something and I am excited about the future.
