However Grey, 28, began and scored for the Chiefs within the Premiership final weekend and is now with the squad.
He’ll compete with Edinburgh pair Grant Gilchrist and Sam Skinner, Leicester’s Cameron Henderson and his brother Richie of Glasgow Warriors for a spot within the second row for the Calcutta Cup match.
The previous Warriors lock returned to the Scotland beginning line-up for the primary time since March 2021 as Gregor Townsend’s side defeated England at Murrayfield within the opening sport of final 12 months’s championship.
