Six Nations: Wales and Ireland will open the 2023 tournament

This year’s Six Nations saw Ireland defeat Wales by 29 to 7.

Wales will take on Ireland in Cardiff, while Ireland travels to Dublin for the last match of the 2023 Six Nations.

Ireland finished second in this year’s table and will host champions France in round two.

Italy won their first match at the tournament since 2015, beating Germany 2-1. by beating Wales in Cardiff last month,Wayne Pivac’s men will be at home on the 11th of March.

The Friday night fixture of 2022 is gone forever.

France and Wales faced off at the Principality stadium on Friday 11th March, in front of an audience of approximately 63,000. some 11,000 short of capacity.

The tournament runs from February 4 through March 18.

Ben Morel, chief executive of Six Nations, stated that there are many stories to be told over the five rounds.

“This is an important part of what makes The Championship so special, and what continues captivate the imaginations of fans and audiences around the globe.”
