France scrumhalf Laure Sansus, who won 37% of the fan votes, has been named Women’s Six Nations player-of-the-championship.

The panel created the shortlist which was then put to a vote by the public.

France came in second place behind winners England, who beat the French 24-12 at Bayonne to win the Grand Slam. However, Stade Toulousain’s Sansus (27) had the most attempts and assists during the tournament.

This victory gave England their fifth Six Nations title. France was denied a first title since 2018.
