The Tennessee TitansA source said that OLB Harold Landry was signed to a 5-year $87.5 million deal, which includes $52.5 million guaranteed.
Landry just finished his best season with Titans. He posted a career-high 12 tackles to become the Titans' first pass rusher to hit double-digits since Brian Orakpo (10.5) back in 2015.
According to Next Generation Stats, he was also the Titans' most reliable player last season. He was on the field for 89.5% defense snaps.
Seven of Landry’s sacks occurred on third down, which was third among pass rushers. Landry was also the first Pro Bowl selection, finishing with 49 quarterback pressures and 22 quarterback hits. He also had 21 quarterback hurries, 14 tackles for loss, and 21 quarterback hits.
His impact is not limited to his pass-rushing skills. Landry, who turns 26 this June, is a solid defender against the run. He has a knack of running down ball carriers from the other side of the field. He is also a matchup option, providing tight ends at the 10-yard mark.
He was selected in round 2 (41st overall), and has been a starter in every single game during his four-year NFL tenure, which includes all three seasons.
Landry's total NFL sacks include 31 with 256 tackles, 3 forced passes, 2 fumble recoveryies, and 2 interceptions.
