Ravens officials confirmed that the Ravens had hired ESPN.
Brown was just promoted to president and special adviser to Ted Leonsis, chairman of Monumental Sports in November.
Brown, who was executive vice president for football operations for the Cleveland BrownsThe team fired, during the 2017 season. Brown was in control of personnel and Hue Jack as coach. The Browns went 1-27. They also had more salary-cap room than any other league team.
Brown was appointed chief planning and operations officer at Monumental Basketball in 2019, a group that includes both the Wizards and the WNBA’s Washington Mystics.
The Wizards stated that Brown would manage “technology, finance, communications and security” at the time.
