Payton was hurt when Dillon BrooksWith 9:08 remaining in the first quarter, Payton was chased from behind by a fast-break layup. He hit the Warriors guard in his head in the air and took him down. Payton was unable to stand up and continued to fall for several minutes. Brooks was expelled after officials had reviewed the play.
