While the NFL schedule has not been released, and the draft is still weeks off, odds of a season-win total are available at some sportsbooks.

“The league is so balanced at the moment that it’s difficult to put up a win total in excess of 12,” Adam Pullen, assistant trading director at Caesars Sportsbook stated in a company press release. “The parity’s there. There are so many great teams out there. Even with the added game, it’s hard for a team to win 13 or fourteen games. It creates more uncertainty and balance with all the player movement. It is not surprising that 11.5, the league’s highest win total, is so high. It just shows how deep this league is.
Caesars’ win numbers paint a picture about a highly competitive AFC. Nineteen of the 14 AFC teams with the highest opening win percentages are AFC members. Each team in the rugged AFC West opened their season with win totals greater than 8.5.
Pullen stated, “I would argue that the AFC West division is the most impressive I’ve ever seen.” These four teams are playoff-caliber: an improved Broncos team; a Chargers group that has been close, but many expect to win; and a Raiders team who made it into the playoffs last season. The Chiefs are obviously the Chiefs. It stands out as the hardest, so every division game should be interesting.”
