St. Louis Blues extend 3-year contract to coach Craig Berube

ST. LOUIS — St. Louis BluesWednesday, coach Craig Berube announced a three year extension of his contract.

The 56-year-old Berube is 133-72-30 (.630) in 3½ seasons with the Blues and was a finalist for the Jack Adams Award in 2019 when he led the Blues to the first Stanley Cup championship in franchise history. The terms of the new contract were not disclosed.

After the All-Star break, the Blues were fifth in the Western Conference and are eager to make a long playoff run. They have lost two of their previous seasons.

In games coached, Berube ranks seventh among Blues’ history and is fourth in wins. He was also the head coach for the Blues. Philadelphia Flyers (2013-15).
