NASHVILLE TENNESSEE — The Tennessee Titans started rookie quarterback Malik Willis In their preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens.

Willis, who was chosen by the Titans as their third round 2022 draft pick, is listed below Ryan Tannehill And Logan Woodside on Tennessee’s unofficial depth chart.

Willis is the subject of a development approach by the Titans. At first, their focus was on Willis getting into and out of the huddle. They also wanted him to line up under the center for the snap.

The coaching staff was impressed by Willis’s ability to retain the information presented. Next is to put it all together.

“Now it’s a matter tying the lower portion of his body to his mind and redirecting his eyes using his feet,” Titans quarterbacks Coach Pat O’Hara said last Wednesday.

Willis claimed that the best way to make things go faster is to have more reps.
