Terrell Owens claims he was threatened by a man who punched him at CVS

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Terrell Owens, a former NFL star, claimed that a fight he had with a man in a CVS lot parking lot was the result a “aggressor” who threatened him and a supporter he was talking about at the California store.

According to Owens (48), he claimed that he acted in self defense Saturday night after the man made “offensive gestures and threatening remarks” to Owens and a fan who approached Owens.

According to the Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver, the man approached him and the customer in the store. In an effort to calm the situation down, he walked out and followed the man.

Owens stated to the AP that the aggressor kept threatening the fan, just like he did in the shop. “I placed myself between the aggressor and the fan to try to diffuse the situation. I verbally demanded that the aggressor stop his threatening behavior.

Owens stated that the man “swung first at me” before he felt “obligated to stop the aggressor becoming more violent.”

TMZ first reported The fight at Inglewood CVS was captured and published as a witness’s video.

It was unclear whether police were called on Wednesday to respond to the incident. Inglewood police did no immediate respond to calls or emails seeking comment.

Owens stated, “Like everyone else, I was making an emergency stop at CVS and was completely blindsided by it all.” “Unfortunately, the threat against me and the fan forced me to use self-defense. I will try to learn from this negative experience.
