Titans release WR Josh Gordon, from the practice squad

NASHVILLE (Tenn.) — The Tennessee Titans We are releasing veteran receivers Josh Gordon A source within the team confirmed Monday that they had a practice squad.

After being released by the FBI, Gordon was signed to Tennessee’s practice squad in September. Kansas City Chiefs.

After five games, the veteran receiver was promoted twice to the Titans’ game day roster. However, he didn’t record any statistics other than 22 snaps in the two games.

The Cleveland Browns Gordon was selected in round 2 of the 2012 supplemental draft. He led the NFL with receiving in 2013, with 1,646 yard and nine touchdowns, on 87 receptions.

Since then, Gordon has been suspended by the NFL six times, five for some form of substance abuse, according to ESPN Stats & Information research. Gordon was suspended for three seasons from 2014 to 2020.
