Adams is a solid rebounder and field goal shotter who contributed a valuable 3.4 assists to his game last season. Adams doesn’t score often or block many shots. However, only 12 qualified players averaged double digit rebounds last year, and Adams was one of them. He was also fifth in assists. Your roster doesn’t need to have an amazing upside. Adams is a good choice. — Karabell
Fantasy managers should pay more attention to Smith’s ability to score boards, 3-pointers and tally stocks. Smith’s current rim protection rates are still somewhat elusive. Myles Turner He is back in action, but the longer game includes him playing in an unrestricted role with an Indiana lottery-bound team. Rookie wing is for those who prefer deeper formats. However, I believe that “best” means “highest ceiling,” which is a reference to swinging for the top deck. Although he’s had a poor preseason, Jalen Smith is still in pole place for a top 75-type breakout. Indiana’s power forward is very thin. Although we don’t yet know the Jazz’s exact plans for this season, we know Beasley is still only 25, and that he has demonstrated during his time with Timberwolves at both the end of the 2019-20 and the entire 2020-21 seasons that he is capable of scoring high volume on good percentages, with great contributions from the 3-point line. He was a 20-point scorer (44-47% FFG), 3.5 3PG (40-43% 3P%) and a player with 33 minutes per game. These numbers could be replicated or built upon if Beasley is added to the Jazz’s wing. — Snellings
Hyland has been a big talker this offseason for Nuggets. Hyland finished his rookie season strong, posting averages of 14.3 PPG. 3.0 RPG. 4.3 APG. and 1.0 SPPG in March. He’s in excellent shape now and is a serious contender to win the Most Improved Player award. With Will Barton Monte Morris Hyland was traded to the Wizards. He should play a lot. — Moody
