Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa Although he made a small move Wednesday to return to football, he was unable to continue for the second week due a concussion.
The Dolphins will begin rookies Skylar Thompson Sunday at the quarterback against the Minnesota Vikings, coach Mike McDaniel said.
“I can tell with certainty that he won’t be playing this Sunday,” Mike McDaniel, Dolphins coach, said about Tagovailoa. Tagovailoa has been in concussion protocol for the past nine days.
McDaniel confirmed Wednesday that Tagovailoa would return to practice Wednesday in a limited capacity since Week 4.
We miss his personality. McDaniel stated that he is a man that we can rely on, and that Tagovailoa will work out and throw individually.
Dolphins quarterback Teddy BridgewaterAfter being taken from Sunday’s loss of 40-17 to the Titans, he is now in the concussion protocol. New York Jets On Miami’s first offensive play will also be limited as he works through the protocol.
McDaniel stated that Bridgewater will be available, but the Dolphins intend to start Thompson, the rookie who replaced Bridgewater last Sunday.
