Leinster scored a 26-7 bonus point over Edinburgh in the United Rugby Championship game held at the RDS.

Edinburgh won the first quarter, with Mesu Kunavula losing a try for a double move.

Leinster capitalized on Connor Boyle’s unlucky yellow ticket as Scott Penny toucheddown with Nick McCarthy sniping in for a second time before half-time.

Vikh Abdaladze, Max Deegan and a couple of other tries secured Leinster’s bonus score before Emiliano Bioffelli’s late reply.

The Leinster’s second-half try came after Edinburgh had failed to make a few more spectacular chances. He was particularly sloppy with full-back Henry Immelman’s wild pass into touch, which he failed in finding Ramiro Moyano.

While it wasn’t a great Leinster possession performance but their excellent defending at the beginning of both halves, in addition to the profligacy displayed by the visitors, was enough to give Edinburgh its third defeat of the campaign.

We will keep you posted.
