PITTSFORD N.Y. — Oh, college dorm living! You will live in cramped quarters with tiny bathrooms and twin mattresses.
When Von Miller Took his first training camp at St. John Fisher University. Buffalo BillsAfter signing a $120 million, six-year contract, he was reintroduced into the college campus life. The most noticeable changes he noticed when living in a dormitory were the lack television, bed, and dorm toilet paper.
Miller declared that at 33 years of age, toilet paper and beds were different. This was on Miller’s first day at camp. The dorm room has no TV. You’ll notice a difference. Every day, you have to make your bed, change it, and do all the other things. Although it can be difficult at first, it is something I enjoy.
Fast forward almost two weeks and Miller has toilet paper on his mind for a completely different reason. He has been given so much toilet paper. Bills fans sent Miller toilet paper and wipes after Miller’s news conference. The generosity he has received is overwhelming.
Miller stated that he just said, “Hey, the toilet papers’s different. And boom, like boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes of toilet paper and wipes. “Everybody is just trying to make it a whole lot simpler for me here, man. I just wanted to express my gratitude publicly for all of you.
Miller stated that he didn’t expect toilet paper to arrive at his doorstep.
Packages sent to Bills players at St. John Fisher can be brought to the players’ rooms. Each day, the team receives approximately 10 large boxes. The team receives gifts from their agents frequently. Items are sent daily from the locker room at Orchard Park in New York to the team at the college campus.
Ryan Moore, Bills football operations coordinator and administration coordinator, said that they just sent it to Von Miller. “My interns grab the mail, as they go through it every day, then deliver it to my guys’ rooms. It’s as simple as that.
Moore explained that fans also send a lot of fanmail to players.
Miller’s room is filled with gifts. However, there should be enough toilet paper.
Miller stated that the first four-pack was like a four-pack, and then the eight-pack was the next day. Then some wipes arrived in the mail from Bills fans. It was plant-based and was just every day. “So, I really appreciate these guys. “… This just goes to show the power of Bills Mafia, and the fan base we have.”
