For the Autumn Nations Series against Argentina, Wales will be without Tommy Reffell as a flanker and Leigh Halfpenny as a full-back for the game against Wales.

Reffell, 23 years old, sustained a rib injury in the loss to New Zealand. Halfpenny (33) was forced to withdraw from the game with a hamstring issue.

Gethin Jenkins, Wales defense coach has confirmed that Josh Adams and Alex Cuthbert are back in training.

Wayne Pivac, the head coach, has named his side to face Argentina this Thursday.

Jenkins, defence coach, stated that Tommy and Leigh are not going to be available for this week.

“They are both the only two at the moment that can be ruled out for the weekend.

“They are (Cuthbert Adams and Adams) back in training today. They are back in the business of stuff.

“Alex trained last Wednesday, but it wasn’t his first week of long-term training so that was why he didn’t participate. We needed to ease him into it.”

Reffell, Taulupe Fletau and captain Justin Tipuric played openside flanker in the back row.

Christ Tshiunza (Dan Lydiate), Jac Morgan, Josh Macleod, and Jac Morgan are all possible flankers to replace Reffell.

Rhys Priestland replaced Halfpenny in the All Blacks side. He slotted in at fly half with Gareth Anscombe moving to full-back.

Liam Williams, the full-back of the British and Irish Lions is currently missing due to a dislocated left shoulder.
