Mike Clevinger, a beginning pitcher who signed with the Chicago White Sox earlier this offseason, is beneath investigation for violating Main League Baseball’s home violence coverage, a supply informed ESPN on Tuesday, confirming an preliminary report by The Athletic.
The investigation stems from allegations made by a girl, Olivia Finestead, who accused Clevinger of bodily and emotional abuse towards his three youngsters and their two moms, herself included. The lady agreed to be named in an interview with The Athletic and has shared her accusations via a private social-media web page.
Finestead has been in contact with MLB investigators since final summer season, when Clevinger was a member of the San Diego Padres, in keeping with The Athletic, however aired her accusations over a sequence of tales on her Instagram account on Tuesday.
