Cyberpunk 2077 News Stream Coming Tomorrow

[ad_1]

CD Projekt Red announced the Cyberpunk 2077 stream to be broadcast tomorrow (February 15).

Airing at 7am Pacific / 10:00 Eastern / 3pm UK (that is February 16 at 2am AEDT), CDPR has yet to give details but it seems likely we will get information on the upcoming PS5/X/S editions.

This stream is also being branded a REDstream rather than the Night City Wire streams around Cyberpunk’s launch. This could suggest that we’ll be getting news about other CDPR project. This could be The Witcher 3’s next-generation version, currently scheduled for Q2 2022, or its brand-new single-player Gwent.

Since before launch, Cyberpunk 2077 was originally set for the latter half last year. CDPR has promised new-gen Cyberpunk versions since then. They were delayed and moved to Q1 2022. This means that a release should be before March 31st. A native PS5 version was recently found in the PlayStation Network backend. This adds fuel to the fire for a release in the very near future.

There is a possibility that we might also hear about its first paid DLC expansion. CDPR had previously promised expansions twice the size of those released for The Witcher 3. They also revealed last year that Cyberpunk’s core team was being reduced and more developers were available to work on an expansion.

There’s also the outside chance of news around Cyberpunk’s once-promised online component – although CDPR previously said it had “reconsidered” a multiplayer Cyberpunk project. It’s not clear if that’s been cancelled, delayed or transformed into something else.
