PlayStation announced that it will broadcast Gran Turismo 7 State of Play Wednesday, February 2.

Twitch, YouTube and YouTube will show the event beginning at 2pm Pacific / 5pm Eastern (or 10pm UK) (that’s February 3, at 9am AEDT).

Sony claims the broadcast will feature “30 minutes” of new PS5 footage, gameplay details, and that it will also cover modes and features in its upcoming driving simulator.

Gran Turismo 7 for PS5 and PS4 will be available on March 4, 2022, after a delay.

Kazunori Yamauchi, creator of the game, says it will be “a title which connects the past with the present and the future”, intending to combine 25 years’ worth of series history into one game. In addition to its new features, the game will have a number of returning features like the used car dealership and variable time and weather.

Yamauchi claims that it will include an unpopular always-online connection. However, Yamauchi states that this is to prevent cheating and allow livery data to function properly.
