Horizon Zero Dawn Sold More Than 20 Million Copies on PS4 & PC

Sony and Guerilla games announced that Horizon Zero Dawn was sold worldwide in excess of 20 million copies on both the PlayStation 4 (PC) and the PlayStation 4.

This statistic shows the total number of copies that were sold on both platforms by November 2021. In addition, the game has been played over one billion hours. This is good news for the franchise, as its sequel will be released next week.

Herman Hulst, Head of PlayStation Studios, tweeted that Horizon Zero Dawn had sold more than 20 million copies worldwide across PC and PS4! Guerrilla is a remarkable company and we owe a huge thank you to all of our extremely supportive fans!

Daniel Ahmad, Niko Partners analyst mentionsHorizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition was released on PC and PS4 in order to help the game hit the sales milestone. The previous sales figures for the game were over 10,000,000 in 2019, but that number has more than doubled since then.

Horizon Zero Dawn now joins Uncharted 4 and God of War (2018) in the 20,000,000-plus copy category.

Horizon Forbidden West is the sequel and will be released for PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PlayStation 5 (PS5). IGN published a preview of the game last month.
