Although we don’t know for sure if the Chrono cross remake is real or not, it does look very similar to the trailer for the Chronocross and One other Eden crossover event, Advanced Dream.

The trailer is set to the nostalgic opening song Time Scar and features Serge, Package, Harle and Lynx, along with many One other Eden characters, as a tribute to Chrono Cross’ unique intro film. It’s full of references, including the second where the digital camera zooms into Child’s eye (with Feinne representing One other Eden standing in for Child) and Harle’s shot against the full moon.

All of them look amazing.

Chrono Cross’ introduction is a great online game opening. But these stunning renditions of Serge (and crew) are a captivating portrait of what mayParticularly if Chrono Cross remasters are actually actual.

Their One other Eden in-game selves were reduced to chibi form. The crossover comes with brand new full character artwork from Serge, Child, Harle.

Chrono Cross and One Other Eden Crossover Character Artwork

Finally, we have this promo artwork. It includes a few familiar faces such as Glenn, Starky, and FATE.

Chrono Cross was released for PlayStation 2 in 1999. While it’s dated in many ways its music and artwork still look great today. The trailer and artwork for One other Eden give a glimpse into what could be. It’s no surprise that Chrono Cross veterans Masato Kato (Yasunori Mitsuda) and Nobuteru Youki (character designer) were all concerned.

Another Eden’s Chrono Cross-over will be released on December 9th. We spoke to DaisukeTakeshima ahead of the announcement regarding the four-year effort to bring Chrono Cross from the cell JRPG. Only time scars will tell if this is a teaser for more Chrono issues.
