Bandai Namco announces My Hero Academia Ultra Rumble – a brand new battle royale game that is free to play on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
Gematsu reported that Bandai Namco announced the game in the most recent issue of Weekly Jump magazine. While a release date was not revealed, the magazine teased that players would be able to “team up and win a 24-player rumble” in multiplayer action.

My Hero Academia Ultra Rumble is offering a closed beta testing period to allow a select few to experience the game and its features before it launches. All details about the closed beta, including how to sign up, will be posted on the official game website.
My Hero Academia has a long history in video games. Its characters and franchise have appeared in many different forms over the years.
My Hero: One’s Justice came out in 2018 and its sequel, My Hero: One’s Justice 2 was released in 2019. Jump Force also featured Izuku “Deku”, All Might and Katsuki Bakugo as playable characters. There have also been a few mobile titles released.
We reviewed My Hero: One’s Justice 2 and said it “touches up some nuances of the original’s fighting and builds an impressive roster, but it doesn’t bring much beyond a few decent matches.”
