Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder's Revenge
Tribute Games announced Master Splinter as a playable character for its retro beat 'em-up. Describing the character as a ‘must have' for the game, Tribute's Eric Lafontaine explains that that Splinter is “calm and collected in his movements – but not slow,” designed to reflect his passive nature in the TMNT cartoon, but allowing him to take part in the action.
Splinter can use a cane to open up bouncing combinations, bite and have a ranged flying special attack. Splinter has an additional special move, which is based upon the opening credits of 1987 animated series. In this sequence Splinter can be seen breaking down wooden boxes using all fours.
The game will be available later this year.
Hello Neighbor 2
The stealthy sequel is coming to PS4/PS5 this year. TinyBuild Games has announced that the beta for the game will begin on April 7. You will have access to the game if you pre-order it.
Hello Neighbor 2 expands the world and adds multiple enemies characters. There is even a neural network to help the AI outfox you.
Samurai Gunn 2
Samurai Gunn 2, a one-hit-kill platform fighting video game, will be coming to PS5. There are a few guest fighters in the game, including Ana from Spelunky 2 and Minit from the video game, Well, Minit.
The game was first released on PC in 2019 and the guest characters were added over time. However, the complete package will arrive on PS5 with the rest of the contents, though there is no release date.
Mode of PvP Salt and Sacrifice
Salt and Sacrifice will be available on PS4 and PS5 starting May 10.
James Silva, co-developer, introduced the game's optional multiplayer mode. He said that it is “far more dynamic” than Salt and Sanctuary. It features sprint attacks and grappling hooks as well as dozens of Runic Arts spells.
The surreal, high-speed FPS was originally released on Steam in 2020 and will now be available for consoles including PS4/PS5. You will need to blast through strange landscapes while avoiding death, using arcade-style principles.
Levels are procedurally generated. There are no lives or retries. This means that every time you fail, the game will regenerate. You'll be given an upgrade randomly selected to continue the game when you reach the end of each levl.
Polyarc revealed new details about the sequel to the PSVR action puzzler.
Moss: Book 2 will continue the outsized feeling that the first game created. It will place you in larger spaces and include “expansive multidimensional puzzles” and platforming challenges. This will be possible thanks to seamless cuts that take no load time. You can navigate large areas with minimal motion discomfort.
Remarkable areas will be made available for you to visit again, so that you can rinse them all at your own pace and find collectibles or secrets. You may find new perspectives and solutions to puzzles that you might not have known exist in rooms as they change over time.
Animal Well, a new PS5 title from Billy Basso, is a pixel-art 2D gaming experience with the “senses of survival horror”. Basso is intentionally vague regarding the game's contents but says it contains puzzle, platforming, horror, and other game genres.
The game's core revolves around a map that you can navigate and learn as you find new abilities or other items. Basso writes that you will discover a surreal, interconnected labyrinth full of secrets. Although it isn't as large as some games, the map of this game is much more detailed than others.
Basso estimates the game will take 15-20 hours to complete, but many more to complete 100% – and hints at a third layer of “far more obscure puzzles, whose existence will be unknown to most.”
Although the game does not yet have a release date it should be available by the end 2022 or early 2023.
