Pokemon Scarlett and Pokemon Violet Announced in Late 2022

The Pokemon Company announced that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be available on Nintendo Switch in the latter part of 2022.

These two new Game Freak-developed games, which were announced during Pokemon Day 2022’s Pokemon Presents 2018, will be set in a new region. The three starters have been revealed. Trainers will have to choose between the Fire Croc Fuecoco or the Grass Cat Srigatito at the start of the game.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are an evolutionary step in the Pokemon franchise. They offer an open world, where towns with no borders blend seamlessly in the wilderness. The Pokemon Company notes that Pokemon can be found everywhere in this open world, including in the skies and on the streets.

Although we don’t know all the differences, it was revealed that Trainers will have a “different outfit depending on the game they are playing.”

Sprigatito, the Grass Cat, has the Overgrow capability. Their description states that they are “capricious and attention-seeking.” Fuecoco, the Fire Croc, has the Blaze ability. He is “laid back” and “does everything at his own pace.” Quaxly, the Water Duckling, has the Torrent ability. He is “earnest” and “tidy.”
