Star Trek: Resurgence is our IGN First cover story for the month. This is the upcoming post TNG adventure from Telltale’s longtime developer (and LucasArts longtime adventure game maker). Kevin Bruner with his new Dramatic Labs team, which includes former Telltale developers.
Star Trek: Resurgence is a narrative adventure game in which you’ll be able to freely explore sections of both your ship and, yes, strange new worlds, making dialogue choices along the way as one of two playable characters whose perspectives alternate as the game – which isn’t episodic, by the way – progresses.
In the new four-minute gameplay clip at the top of this page, Carter Diaz explores the ship before getting his assignment from his…very particular…commanding officer. You can also check out our previous gameplay, which featured Ambassador Spock! You can see it directly above.
Star Trek: Resurgence will be released later in the year for PC (via Epic Games Store), PlayStation 2, and Xbox.
