Green finished last season with a season that was close to his previous 1,000-yards season in 2017. He finished 2021 on 848 yards with three touchdowns and 54 catches.
Green signed with Cardinals to have the chance to be a No. 2 receiver behind DeAndre HopkinsThis was his first career time not being his top receiver option.
He was quickly able to play a part in Arizona’s offense. But, Coach Kliff Kingbury realized that he had not done a sufficient job in getting the ball from Green by December.
Green, who turns 34 on July 31, was targeted 5.75 times each game. He was able to finish with two 100-yard games. This is his first 100-yard game since 2018.
He put aside any doubts about the durability of his game. He missed the 2019 season due to an ankle injury. He has played 16 games in each of the two previous seasons.
Green signed a $6 million one-year contract with the Cardinals in the offseason. Green wore a different jersey for the first time in his professional career. Cincinnati Bengals.
He ranks second in the Bengals’ history for receiving yards (9.430), receptions (6499) and touchdown catches (65) over 127 games.
