As the sides meet for their first time since the 2016-17 Champions Cup at Sandy Park, coverage will begin at 18:45 BST
Ulster are gearing for the return to the United Rugby Championship, which will take place in mid-September. After reaching the semi-finals last season, they lost in agonising fashion the Stormers.
The European campaign of the northern province ended in heartache as well. Their Champions Cup journey came to an abrupt halt at the last-16 stage after a one-point aggregate defeat against Toulouse.
Chiefs were also defeated in 16 of the 16 remaining games before reaching the Premiership playoffs. They came in seventh place.
