Reds evicted outfielders Tyler NaquinAnd Nick SenzelBoth were removed from Wednesday’s starting lineup at Milwaukee and placed on the injured list. They were both added to the injured list without being designated as injury, which is a sign that both of them are suffering from COVID-19-related issues.
Star first baseman Joey VottoOn Tuesday, the IL was updated for COVID-19. However, manager David Bell stated that Votto had not tested positive at that time. Bell indicated Wednesday that Votto would be out for “more days than a few”.
As replacements for the vacant roster spots, Reds outfielders Albert Almora (Triple-A Louisville) and Ronnie Dawson (Triple-A Louisville) were selected by the team.

One bit of good news was for the Reds.
Right-hander Luis CastilloHe struck out seven and gave up three hits over four innings for Triple-A Louisville Wednesday. It was his third rehabilitation appearance after a shoulder strain. Bell indicated that Castillo will make his major league debut Monday.
