Bevan Rodd from Uncapped Sale, who also qualifies for Scotland has been called into England’s squad to take on Australia rather than the isolationist Joe Marler.
Rodd, 21 years old, was born in Scotland but has represented England at the age-grade stage. A senior cap would entitle him to Eddie Jones’ side.
