Dragons are in negotiations to sign Clermont-Auvergne fly-half JJ Hansrahan for next season.

The 29 year-old moved to France only last summer after moving from Munster.

The highly respected Irishman is being sought by Wales international Sam Davies to take the Dragons number 10 shirt.

Hanrahan was a Clermont player this season, competing against Camille Lopez of France for a starting place.
