Harlequins will welcome Stephan Lewies back to their second row, to guide the champions against London Irish.

Quins will be with the England pair fly-half Marcus Smith, and quantity eight Alex Dombrandt. They’ll enjoy a prolonged rest after the autumn internationals.

After Ollie Hoskins’s debut against England, the London Irish are pleased to welcome him back to their entrance row.

After a hat trick against Saracens earlier in the month, Winger Kyle Rowe also keeps his place in the backline.

Quins fly-half is Tommy Allan’s role, and one of six returning internationals leads Quins. Joe Marler takes over at loose-head prop.

Irish have re-instated Adam Coleman, who was suspended for violating Saracens’ purple card. Olly Cracknell will start a primary Premiership at number eight, while Paddy Jackson will be back in action after suffering arm damage.

Tabai Matson, Harlequins senior Coach, informed BBC Radio London

“Everyone of our internationals had completely different roles during their different video games, which helps us to keep them going after they return.

“All had great campaigns and those who were again there are thrilled after an important week of coaching. They also know that they have a job and they are often fizzing.

“There is still a lot of rugby to be played on this marketing campaign, after a stable start. We are conscious that we won’t make assumptions about where we’re at.

“This will be an unimaginable recreation that we can get back into our coherent recreation plan.”

London Irish centre Curtis Rona informed BBC Radio London:

“It doesn’t matter who is taking part on this competition, it does not matter what your experience level is. You know you will be in a difficult recreation.

“Brad Davis is our defensive coach and has stressed the importance of not switching off in opposition Harlequins.

We all know that they are a momentum group, and we have seen a lot of high-quality gamers across the board.

“We just need to pay attention to ourselves and to our programs, and we’ll put them in place to win,”
