On a short-term basis, the Leicester Tigers have signed forward Sean Jansen of Otago in New Zealand.
The Premiership leaders are able to play across the back-row and the 22-year-old can now link up with them immediately.
Jansen, a Dunedin native, attended Otago Boys High. He played junior rugby with North Island RFC. He also represented North Otago.
He said, “I was stunned when the offer first arrived.” said.
“After a conversation with [head coach] Steve [Borthwick]Even more exciting was the chance to join a club like Leicester Tigers.”
