Houston Texans is being sued for allegedly enabling Deshaun Watson’s behavior.

The Houston Texans Monday’s formal designation of defendants in civil case involving former quarterback was made. Deshaun Watson.

“Today we filed our first case against the Houston Texans regarding Deshaun Watson’s behavior. It suffices to say that all evidence proving that Watson was enabled by the Houston Texans is incredibly damning,” Tony Buzbee, a Houston attorney who represented 25 different women in lawsuits against Watson, said.

“We believe the Texans knew, or most definitely should have known about Watson’s conduct.” Buzbee said that beyond that, the filing speaks for itself.

Monday’s lawsuit is the most complete account of the Texans’ prior knowledge of Watson’s behavior, if any.

The lawsuit claims that Watson used Instagram to meet the plaintiff and arrange a spa massage. Watson could have arranged a better massage through the Texans. Watson met the woman in Manvel, Texas at her mother’s home. He brought his towel along to the massage and proceeded to sexually assault her, according to the suit.

Watson’s actions were described by the lawsuit as being part a disturbed, predatory, incriminating pattern with many female victims.

Watson maintained that he was innocent of all allegations that he engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct during massage sessions. Watson was declined criminal charges by Texas grand juries.

Buzbee announced last week that 20 of the 24 women who had active lawsuits against Watson had settled their cases. Ashley Solis, who was the first woman in March 2021 to file a suit against Watson and first to identify herself publicly as a plaintiff and plaintiff in Monday’s case

These are the two remaining women who have active lawsuits against them. Cleveland Browns According to quarterback, he has committed a variety of sexually assaultive behavior.

Monday’s lawsuit claims that the Texans knew about Watson’s practice of getting multiple massages with people he didn’t know, according to the suit. According to the lawsuit the company learned of Watson’s habit of seeking multiple massages with strangers from Genuine Touch Massage Clinic in Sugar Land. The clinic lists the Texans among its clients on its website.

According to the lawsuit, Deshaun Watson declined to have massages performed at the Texans stadium despite having a full staff of Texans trainers available and despite having Genuine Touch as his massage therapy company, he preferred to contact strangers via Instagram instead.

Joni Honn, Genuine Touch’s owner, complained to the Texans in June 2020 that Watson was looking for unqualified people for massages via Instagram.

According to the lawsuit, Watson expressed concern that he was at risk of contracting Covid or being sued.

According to the lawsuit, Genuine Touch was also aware that at most one of its therapists had had, or was having, sexual relations during massage sessions with Watson.

The lawsuit states that Watson was given a NDA by the Houston Texans to ‘protect himself from random women he found on Instagram’ despite his behavior.

Monday’s lawsuit provides an in-depth explanation of how Watson signed the Non-Disclosure Agreement Watson required massage therapists to sign.

The suit states that Watson “admited that Brent Naccara was a former Secret Service agent who was also the Texans’ director for security, gave Watson the NDA.”

Naccara provided Watson with an NDA, according to the lawsuit. This was after Nia Smith made an Instagram posting in November 2020. The lawsuit claims that Watson engaged in sexual misconduct while receiving a massage from Smith. Smith then included Watson’s picture on an Instagram post, with the message “I could really expose”

The lawsuit states that Watson used the NDA to facilitate multiple massage sessions with random women he met on Instagram. He told the women that to get paid, he needed them to sign the Texans’ NDA.

The lawsuit claims that Watson also sexually assaulted female clients during massage sessions at Houstonian Hotel. Watson’s room was secured by the Texans, and Watson was given a massage table by Watson’s team.

The Texans released a statement saying that they were aware of the lawsuit being filed against them today. “Since March 2021 we have fully supported the law enforcement and the different investigations. We will continue to investigate the allegations against our company.

The NFL declined comment to Monday’s lawsuit.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Watson’s hearing before both the NFL and NFL Players Association’s jointly appointed disciplinarian, Sue L. Robinson is set to begin Tuesday. Schefter reports that Robinson will be listening as the NFL pushes for a “lengthy suspension” for Watson. Watson will be able to appeal after Robinson rules. Roger Goodell, NFL commissioner could either decide to appeal or call in an independent judge.

Watson was interviewed multiple times by the league earlier in summer as part its investigation.

“I did everything they asked. Watson earlier this month stated that he answered every question the NFL asked him truthfully. “I spent hours with them. All I can do is tell them what happened and be truthful. I must respect their job. We want to cooperate. They have to decide what’s best for the league.”

The New York Times reported that Watson had booked appointments with at most 66 women in 17 months from fall 2019 to spring 2021. The list of 66 includes 24 women who have filed lawsuits against Watson, a woman who sued Watson and then withdrew her complaint; two women that filed criminal complaints against Watson but didn’t sue him; at LEAST 15 therapists and Texans who signed statements of support for Watson; at LEAST four therapists and Texans who provided statements of support; at LEAST five women identified by plaintiffs’ lawyers in the course of their investigation; and at least fifteen other women whose appointments with Watson were confirmed by the Times through records and interviews.

Watson stated that he had “no regrets,” regarding any of his actions during the massage sessions. However, he admitted in June that the allegations had caused him to regret the consequences for those around him. “I understand that I have regrets about the impact. [it’s had] “On the community and other people than me,” he stated. He added, “And that includes my entire family. That includes the entire organization. My teammates in this locker-room have to answer these same questions. It also includes the Cleveland Browns fan base. All people in the world, both males and women, are included. It’s one of the things I regret about is the negative impact it has had on so many people. It’s hard to deal with.”
